Chronic or Acute Cystitis
Which is caused by bacterial infections or inflammation of the urinary bladder and urethra (urethritis or interstitial cystitis)
Bladder infections are a form of urinary tract infection (UTI), but not all UTIs are bladder infections. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), bladder infections are the most common type of UTI. Doctors or Veterinarians may also call it cystitis. * Use the homeopathic Cystitis formula drops in conjunction with the Herbal Bladder Antibiotic called - Bladder Infection 50ml liquid
"CHRONIC" Bladder infection
Symptoms are not always seen especially in chronic cases. Infection is common in felines, and this is why most end up with Renal failure (kidney damages) in later years of life. As the chronic infection goes undetected and infection ends up traveling up the urethra to the organs (kidneys). By the time symptoms show kidney damage (losing weight and drinking water often), only 20% function is left. Pets on kibble (dry food) are the worst offender for causing bladder issues and ongoing chronic health complaints as pets age.
"ACUTE" Bladder Infection
FELINE - will seem stressed, restless, and you notice she/he keeps going to the toilet - outside or using the litter box inside, so even missing the litter box, they are that stressed. If this frequent trying to urinate is seen, and notice they are not releasing much urine or none at all, and even sometimes there may also be found some traces of blood in urine. Then your cat needs attention and helping her/him urinate again. It is not good for a cat to have this condition for too long, especially if completely blocked, which can be fatal.
CANINE - difficulty urinating fully, sometimes signs of pain like whimpering during urination, accidents in the house or places not normally used for urination, dribbling urine, excessive licking at the genitals, sometimes bloody or cloudy urine and possible fever. The most obvious signs of a pet with Urinary Tract Infection is feeling the need to urinate frequently even though little or no urine is released, but there are several other symptoms that you should be on the lookout, if these natural support formulae don't clear up the condition, then possible bladder stones, and to get tested for this.
Sometimes there is an Infection like E. colic (Escherichia coli) which is the name of a germ, or bacterium, that lives in the digestive tracts of humans and animals. There are many types of E. coli, and most of them are harmless. But some can cause bloody diarrhea. Some strains of E. coli bacteria (such as a strain called O157: H7) may also cause severe anemia or kidney failure, which can lead to death
Raoultella planticola is a gram-negative, aerobic, rod bacterium commonly found in the environment, particularly in water, soil, and fish. This organism has been found to cause a variety of infections, such as necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating bacteria), cystitis, cholecystitis (cholecystitis is inflammation of the gallbladder. Symptoms include right upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and occasionally fever), pancreatitis (acute attack of pain from inflammation of the pancreas), hepatic disease (liver damage from chemicals or poisons), and soft tissue infections (skin and soft tissue infections result from microbial invasion of the skin and its supporting structures)
"Bladder Infection" using a herbal antibiotic If treating a bladder infection a quick action that is safe for is the use of the Bladder Infection 50ml liquid sometimes we need to combine the herbal formula with the Kidney Infection herbs as well e.g. Microbial Kidney Infection 50ml
*using both herbs especially required for older felines.
Bladder Inflammation (urethritis or interstitial cystitis)
~ Urethritis is inflammation of the urethra. That's the tube that carries urine from the bladder to outside the body. Pain with urination is the main symptom of urethritis. Urethritis is commonly due to infection by bacteria. It can typically be cured with antibiotics. Most episodes of urethritis are caused by infection by bacteria that enter the urethra from the skin around the urethra's opening. Bacteria that commonly cause urethritis include E. coli and other bacteria present in stool. The herpes virus can also cause urethritis.
~ Feline Interstitial Cystitis (FIC)
Feline interstitial cystitis, sometimes called feline idiopathic cystitis or FIC, is an inflammation of the bladder that causes symptoms of lower urinary tract disease. However, in the case of interstitial cystitis, a definitive cause for the disease cannot be identified. Feline interstitial cystitis can occur in both female and male cats. It is a chronic disease that can be difficult to treat and frustrating for cats and cat owners alike.
Symptoms and Types
Symptoms associated with interstitial cystitis include:
~ Frequent attempts to urinate
~ Straining to urinate
~ Urinating in inappropriate places in the house
~ Crying out during attempts to urinate
